První utkání v programu odehrají Univerzitní výběry Česka a Slovenska
Výběr Česka budou tvořit hráči, kteří nastupují primárně v tuzemské Univerzitní lize ledního hokeje (ULLH), výběr Slovenska bude vybrán ze Slovenských univerzitních mužstev, které působí v Evropské univerzitní hokejové lize (EUHL), případně z krajánků, kteří nastupují v ULLH.
Hlavní kostru mužstva budou tvořit hráči, kteří se se prosadili v srpnových soubojích a trenéři Tomáš Ceperko s Alešem Hybnerem. Mezi nejlepší hráče Česka, od kterých máme největší očekávání a neměli by ve výběru chybět, jsou určitě kapitán Matouš Masopust a dlouhodobě nejlepší hráč ligy a bývalý reprezentant David Jindra.
Diváci tak mohou očekávat velmi vypjaté utkání o Pohár Primátora, protože určitě nechceme, aby putoval na Slovensko.
